Buying your Senior Blazer

The blazer MUST be navy and must be on campus with The Webb School patch by October 29, 2019.  Gold buttons are not a requirement.  You might find basic navy blazers from a number of shops including but not limited to: J. Crew, Joseph A. Banks, Brooks Brothers, JC Penny's, Men's Wearhouse, H & M, and Dillard's.

Patches are available through Ms. Little

The patch is typically sewn just over or beneath the left pocket area.

Female Blazer Buying tips

For the  JCrew - The Parke, Regent, Classic Single button, or Legacy all work.
The only ones to stay away from are the collarless or with peplums.

Attaching the Webb Seal patch

In the past, a Webb parent Mrs. Dawn Kilpatrick has offered to attach the patches for $10  -- mekkdk@gmail.com

Also, Corner Cleaners has attached the patch as well.  Please call to make certain they still have this service.   [pick at Webb administrative offices on Tuesdays and Fridays] (931) 684-9688

Commencement Day

9 a.m. - Baccalaureate - Tent
10 a.m.- Class photo - Jr. Room
11 a.m. - Graduation

Lunch for Seniors and their families in the Dining Hall

Here is a description of the traditional Webb Dress for commencement.

Young Ladies:  Female students wear white dresses or pant suits. For Baccalaureate, graduates may wear a dress other than their white graduation dress.  These dresses should be tasteful and appropriate for the occasion.  This is not a party or social event, and I hope that all young ladies will be respectful of the event in their choice of dress.  The same is true for the white graduation dress.   Additionally, there are times when the weather can be cooler, and a white button up sweater/shrug may be needed.  Dress shoes or dress sandals are also part of the outfit.  Each female graduate will be given a Webb graduates’ necklace at graduation rehearsal which they are encouraged to wear.

Young Gentlemen:  Most males wear the same outfit for both ceremonies - school blazer, white dress shirt, khaki pants, proper shoes, and socks.  In addition, each graduate will be given a special graduates’ tie the day before graduation.  We would like all males to wear this tie for the graduation ceremony and the class picture.

I started collecting pictures from various schools with unique graduation dress [not cap & gown] like Webb.

I began curating the pictures on a  Pinterest Board .

Sorry this date is canceled - stay tuned
