Duties of the Senior Class Officers

Senior Portraits

All Seniors will take a Senior Blazer individual and group photo on November 11, 2024

Seniors Design a Full-Page in the Yearbook

Seniors are responsible for purchasing their blazers and attaching the patch on the left-hand side. Some blazers will have a pocket, which is the patch's general area. You may purchase your blazer from any shop that sells blazers or sports coats. Please try to find a blazer that is close to the color of the fabric swatch you receive. We will need the blazers at school by October 31, 2024

Nov 11 - We will have a photographer on campus to take the senior group photo in the blazers, and we will take individual pictures of each Senior in their blazer.

Nov 15 - Senior Blazer Ceremony

We will have a ceremony when the seniors officially receive their blazers. Parents will be invited to the ceremony.

Senior Boards from the past

Senior Board

This Webb tradition began in 1940. It was established based on rules that began with Sawney. He prohibited the students from damaging the plants and trees, carving or drawing on furniture and buildings, and general vandalism. Boys still wanted to whittle on things, and that is when the idea for a Senior Board came to fruition. Beginning in 1940, they placed a table in the Senior Room, and each graduating senior was permitted to carve out their name. The year of that senior class was carved in the middle. The board was hung in the Big Room at the end of the year. Today's senior boards are not only carved but also painted as well.

Senior Survival

May 17-23, 2025

Senior Survival is a Webb tradition that began in 1977.

Along with weekend group trips throughout the year, Winter Freeze and Spring Break adventures test students’ skills. Senior Survival, a weeklong backpacking trip ending the day before graduation, is the final bonding experience for each class that makes lasting memories.

If you are interested in speaking at Graduation, please submit a written speech to Ms. Little hlittle@webbschool.com by April 2. Any Senior may submit a speech. [A selected committee of advisers and students will choose the student graduation speaker]
